Los Angeles, CA (May 16, 2012) – Berry Meyerowitz, President & CEO of Phase 4 Films, announced today that the company has acquired North American rights to writer-director Nate Meyer’s romance “See Girl Run“. The film stars Robin Tunney (The Mentalist) and Adam Scott (Parks And Recreation). Jesse Sweet, Derrick Tseng and Meyer produced the project, with David Gordon Green (Pineapple express, The Sitter) and Lisa Muskat (The Sitter) executive producing. See Girl Run made its world premiere earlier this year at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival, and is having its market premiere this week in Cannes. Phase 4 will release the film day-and-date in theaters and on VOD later this year.
See Girl Run is what happens when a 30-something woman allows life’s “what ifs” to overwhelm her appreciation for what life actually is. Disregarding her current obligations, she digs into her romantic past in hopes of invigorating her present.
Noted Meyerowitz, “Nate Meyer has created an introspective, beautifully shot film that speaks with poignancy about human relationships. We are looking forward to working withthis top notch cast and production team and sharing the film with a North American audience.”
“Each new collaborator throughout the various phases of making SEE GIRL RUN has come onboard with a true appreciation for the heart and soul of the story we wanted to tell,” said Meyer. “Our good fortune continues with Phase 4, who, since our festival premiere, has demonstrated to be the ideal partner for distribution and I could not be more excited.”
The deal for See Girl Run was negotiated by Phase 4′s Larry Greenberg and Katharyn Howe with Ryan Kampe at Visit Films on behalf of the filmmakers.
As I already said, I’m currently taking screen captures of all the “The Mentalist” episode from season one. Today I uploaded 126 HQ screen captures from the 1×09 “Red Flame” episode. I have to admit I’m extremely in love with Robin’s hair in that episode. If my hair was as short as hers in season 01, I’d definitely wear it like that. There are also some scenes that our huge Jisbon/Jello fans might find interesting! Feel free to check the captures out!

In order to open up the Thursday 10 p.m. hour for Sherlock — who will be played by Jonny Lee Miller (Lucy Liu plays Dr. Joan Watson) CBS had to pluck “The Mentalist” out of the hour.
Network suits decided “The Mentalist” was best moved to Sunday nights at 10, following “The Good Wife”. Into the tumbril was tossed this season’s Sunday 10 o’clock drama, “CSI: Miami”, instead of the heavily favored to get the axe, “CSI: NY”.

I know, this is pretty late but I managed to upload 165 HD screen captures from the “The Mentalist” 4×01 “Scarlet Ribbons” episode.
